DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION:
- Hourly range: Step 1 23.35 - Step 8 $32.84 (Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3 depending on the amount of reasonably related experience)
- Length of Work Year: M-F / 195 days per school year
- Location: Transportation
- Hours: 6 - hours per day (hours vary depending on route)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Two (2) years of successful driving experience with a demonstrated record of safe driving
- Experience driving a school bus or equivalent passenger transportation vehicle is desirable.
- Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License
- Possession of a California Special Drivers Certificate
- Possession of a Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or equivalent, or pass a test administered by the CHP
- All applicable state and federal licensing requirements

- CPR & First Aid Certificate - CPR and First Aid courses must be in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Online certifications will not be accepted. Please Note: A BLS certificate alone does not meet the CPR/First Aid requirement. In addition to BLS you must attach a First Aid Certificate.
